New version of BB5 No Test point application

- RAP3 SL2 unlocking is completely free
now, no need to keep 200 credits to be
able to use it. Please feel free to use
them for other services like RAPIDO SL2
or DCT4+ RPL
- Some quick fix on the 5800 unlock problem
the code will be saved to the card. If you
get success on unlock, but phone is still
locked, please do not try to do it second
time as this will eat another 50 credits.
Just run the provided script to enter the
saved code again and unlock

Please use the Genie Update utility to get the latest version on your device

sory sir, u mean all genie user (not active bb5+) can use it? or must buy activated before use?

off sure,now u can use unlock bb5+ except rapido sl2 without buy 200 credit minimum..

Hi,

The script is attached to the first post. Please download and extract.
Then put code.amx in your Programs/Script directory. How to use:

1. After unlocking 5800 and get success, check with simcard if the phone
has really accepted the unlock code.
2. If not, connect the phone again and start code.amx
3. The script will wait 15-20 seconds for the slow os to boot and will try
to load the code again. If you get blinking ( sometimes RAPIDO suck
GigaWatts of power), just mess around with the resistors, plug, unplug
during the Waiting to bootup message on screen till you you get stable
Local Mode

You will get success on unlocked phone too. Also only the last generated
code will be saved to card and uploaded to the phone. So if you have other
phones to unlock, please do not do them until you load the code to the
problematic 5800.

We are still waiting for a sample phone, so please check if the current 15 s
timeout is enough.

No.
U only dont need to have at least 200credits remaining in genie clip to unlock bb5+

i have unlock many 5800 without any problem after i found this problem only happened after the phone been debrand.

i got 2 set of 5800 been debrand,when i unlock. it show unlock done and credit teken,but when insert sim and test..it show sim lock.

but i manage to solve this problem by flash the phone back to original product code and unlock again. then the phone is unlocked.

so..my experiance is..if you need to debrand you phone and unlock too...please unlock first. debrand later. all will be ok. no lost credit after this.

I full flash the phone back to english version ( original is uk local phone)

so far discover 2 set after flash chinese language ,this problem happened. ( 100 credit to learn this error :-) hehe ) , so i believe most of your complain about 5800 is those customer unlocking the phone after they debrand it.

after i discover this problem. i always unlock first . then i flash any language with phoenix or jaf. no problem at all. the phone remain unlocked. done more then 100 set without any problem after this.
