No will not work is not supported GPU need old one HD5xxx

Also HD6970 is not better. Only a single gpu with 880 mhz and 1536 shader units.
A 5970 dual gpu is much better.

for the best and fastest in SL3 bruteforce unlocking u need the ati 5970, the newer cards wont unlock in quicker time.

also before you buy the 5970 card make sure your motherboard supports cross fire technology
