SD Card issue DriverError:1 - GSM-Forum

when i use the original card i get DriverError:1 error when switching to USB drive

I formatted a new SD Card which tells me SD card Missing.

Please help.

Hi,

You can't enter USB disk mode or USB update mode without the drivers in the System directory.
Just download latest uGenie, follow the UserGuide.pdf and update your SD card first.

I formatted SD card, renamed the volume to GENIExxxxxx (i put the serial number), and installed software with the uGenie s/w. the files transferred.

when i put the SD card in the Genie box it says SD in the upper right corner so it reads the card, but when i click update firm ware i get "missing file" error. and if i click USB disk i get "DriverError:1" message. when i plug the genie box to pc with usb cable to update in device manager it says no device found.
I formatted the SD card Fat32 (4096 bytes)

is there something i am doing wrong?

i'm running windows 7, the SD card reader is built into the tower
