uGenie v 0.11 Released - GSM-Forum

New version of uGenie is ready for download. For those who don't know yet,
uGenie is the latest update/management utility for your Genie device.

What's new in v 0.11:

- Nokia N8 logging script support added
- New Sedna OS v 1.66 added

Nokia N8 Logger
Description

This script will allow to read hashes from Nokia N8 and other models with similar CPU and save the
data to a indistry standart .log file and allow local bruteforce processing to get .cod file. It is simple,
straitforward and easy to use. You will need cable with connected RX2 line, all cables that allow flashing
will have this line connected for sure

Nokia C3-01
Nokia C5
Nokia C7
Nokia X3-02
Nokia X5
Nokia E5
Other unlisted with root hash: 916F75217F32081248B15C38DFC8E81B

How to use

Download uGenie v 0.11
Update your card, OS and purchases
Restart the device, connect the phone via adapter and run n8log.smx
When all is done, restart device
Enter USB disk mode and go to /Files/Nokia
The file is saved as .log
Process the .log on your super machine

How to get

This is a paid application, so it's not supplied with uGenie release package.
To obtain it, please use the Buy Now button at the bottom of this page. You will
be redirected to PayPal website where you have to pay using your PayPal account
or credit card. Please do not forget to click 'Add special instructions to merchant
and enter your Genie serial number. After successful payment, please allow upto
24 hours(based on your time zone) and then using uGenie (v 0.10 or up) you
can update your device with the purchased script.

Can you reccomend a fbus cable to read n8 logs without tearing up the phone?

there is a cable for this 8 pin but with adapter should be ok, i usa genie gpg adpter and is very good on genie
