what happen to our old credit, cant it be converted to nsspro credit

No they can't be converted. Alex do own server and offert it like option in nsspro for just energy cost and part cost then no except that old credits will be possible exchange from Alex about this you should ask Dani becosue genie clip server was his own and he get money for credits and he turn off server with promisse that maybe some day will be on but this is not true.

Yes but the same do mtbox team or universalbox when lunch new credits old one can't be converted to new one.
That is life if you know that will not use it in 1 month you should not buy.

All those who have cheated their customers must be banned from this fourm. Weither he is Genie box , Mt box or Universal or any body. This fourm must be used to help the persons not TO HELP THE CHEATERS TO CHEAT THE FOURM MEMBERS. Mr Abu ALi please take look on it.

On mt-box they gaved you the chance to activate any mt-box with any activation. It is simple to spend it, even if you have 5000 . But in GENIE they simply "deleted your money".

Nss activation is serverbased ..... if Server Is off you loose money.
Thats why nss is no Option for me.

Genie Clip works offline to - old gut works.

Nice logic, except whatever miserable money I make from NSS annual subscription,
they also cover expenses for eventual Genie updates.

For example now the GenieProjects IP address changed, uGenie no longer
works. So to make new version, i have to spend maybe 10 hours in update,
testing etc. Let's say a programmers wage is 50 GBP/hour (including all other expenses)
this is 500 GBP. Or in other words 25 NSS pro subscriptions.

If no one is buying them - i will be paying again for the update from my
pocket (like i do for everything since the summer of 2009).

I just wonder for how long it can continue. An year ago i have tried to make
the project viable by offering paying applications, there was a responce
but very small, not enough to keep Genie afloat.

So for every Genie sold 300 Euro, 275 in the pocket of the resseller/manufacturer -
not single Euro to contribute future development.
The 25 Euro that i was getting - is what maybe paying for those updates
right now. And for some 1500+ devices - i didn't even get that.

At the end of day is all business - if you can't pay your bills, dreams go
down the toilet. I guess you also don't unlock for free to all your customers.

Hi,

Original idea was to have powerful ARM9 CPU and touch scren display, the
cost of this configuration was 150 USD+. So to provide more profit and
incentive to the manufacturer we had to simplify the design and bring the
total cost below 40 USD. Offcourse this was at the expence of software
development - on a expencive HW you just slap Linux and have almost
zero dev cost. Coding drivers on small ARM7 CPU with 64k RAM is a nightmare.

Anyway, even with the cheap design, at the last minute, our manufacturer
guy got greedy and just pushed us to the corner - give him massive 120 Euro
profit, or he is out. So the choice was simple - Genie to see the light of
the day or not.

I made a wrong decision back then, the same way i made wrong decision
when i got screwed by Cinek and I didn't release the TP unlock for free.

Even these days, i am keep on trying to support the project, out of
santimental reasons, when clearly everyone who was making any money
on it is long time gone.

I lost almos 10000 credits... I dont ask for refund or change the use of this credits, I want to use for wat I paid... SL3 BRUTEFORCE SERVICE..
with no advice the server was close...
And everybody disapear... and no answer, no refund, no server... no no no no...

I dont buy that the light was too high... genie charge a lot per phone.... so even with that genie team got a lot of money... dont lie to us... we are no stupid...

This is really to cheat... INCREDIBLE. I was loook at genie project... I was think to buy that... Thanks 2 *** I was dont do it. No matteers if u loose money, u can not have in your pocket money of other people if u was dont give services to him... Including people that payed very money. This is really incredible. What about laws??? I think this is inadmisible really
