Why can't i update my new genie - GSM-Forum

I just received my new genie and wanted to update

Updating with genie update client does not work for me why is this

done like the manual says

Get drive = Ok
select drive (genie) = Ok
Update = always error

firewall is off

Please help

Hi,

Should be some firewall or slow speed internet problem. Try to check with the firewall or ISP on the network.

The firewall on your ISP. About speed, yeah even in China Internet it is 3mb still the update is downloaded at 0.1k. Something got to do with internation bandwith from the ISP. So if you have other ISP, you can try with it.

ok thats a big problem then I don't have other isp

never had problems to update any unlock box
