Hi, can anyone help me out. ive connected my phone to usb, opend samsung rpl client, pressed "make ask" and get the following.

Checking Phone Connect ...
Connect Phone OK.
Reading Phone Info ...
Firmware Ver:
Phone IMEI: 000000000000000
Read Phone SN Failure !

What am i doing wrong?

you have to put phone in qualcomm mode first, and install drivers
this error came because your port settings are wrong

how do u put the handset in Qualccome mode

with *#782872#

you need to install the qualcomm drivers too

but, when you use the dual umts cable this is not needed
qualcomm mode is only needed when use orignal cable for the phone
