cant unlock skype phones.. - GSM-Forum

hi guys... im trying to unlock skype fone but when i press unlock button the green light stays and then red light blinks and nothing happens to phone... i have checked on 4 to 5 clips but its not unlockin this fone.. i have around 6 clips and 5 skype fones none of them seems to work all are updated on new firmware... is there any particular fone version which is not supported... i cud manage to unlock 2 skype fones a few days ago but this time it dosent seems to work.. lookin forward to ur reply thnx in advance..

when u connect the set with clip ur phone showing charging or not ? check cable it should be work its is less than half minuts Operation

pls before connect phone to clip be sure in phone setting modem is set as USB not bluetooth
and switch phone on then connect to clip and press unlock
be sure u use clip ver is 4.03 if u want unlock S1 or 4.07 for INQ1 or S2 , and better try have last update

always be sure that while u connect ur phone to vodastar clip it should not show pc suite this results red light and no unlock

always be sure that phone should show charging while u attach phone to vodastar clip this results phone unlock in 1 min

I unlocked one skype wp-s1 from "3" and after 2 days customer come back with only "3" on screen which is reboting after every 10-15 sec.Tryed again unlock but always red blink on end when the phone restarts.
Any advice abaut this problem.

this phone software damadge , i think customer make memory of phone full,no way to fix now

I have the same problem today with one Skype,the phone charge when i put the cable but when i press the button to unlock after 10sec i have red light,any help from support ?

Gerti, make this:
1) put a not supported sim
2) power on phone
3) attach phone on clip
4) press clip button.
5) wait phone restart

ChuckyIT,thanks for your help but i have unlock other Skype but with this i cant,meaby this phone have try to unlock first with other box.

change ur usb cable ,if already than

make sure phone charging socket good clean it with ipa

I try all, but the problem i think is in sw because today i cant unlock one MD2 that i can unlock without problem with V4.10.How to downgrade the version of clip to V4.10 because i update it my clip to V4.11?

i don't know if it's possible, but use v4.10 exe + v4.10 .lic file
