iPhone 3G v6.1 No Service / Searching???
 

Hi guys

I have a Rebel Sim running FW v6.1 on Vodafone

For two days it worked perfectly (3G off to get incoming calls).

Now it says NO SERVICE

I have tried rebooting / rebooting in Airplane Mode / Airplane Mode on and off etc etc etc

The best i get is the phone going to 'Searching' but it sits there forever and finds nothing.

Now its just rebooted and said NO SIM then NO SERVICE then NO SIM and now NO SERVICE (yes I have tried toggling Airplane Mode)

Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to sound stupid but how do I update it?
The software you linked me to is very different in appearance to the one on the video on the RS site:

Sorry, found the right video now :)

But it says:

Looking for card in all PC/SC readers...
Try FT SCR2000 0
FT SCR2000 0 - no have card

Can not find card in boot/upgrade mode...
note: Need to insert card without valid SIM...

Whats am I doing wrong?

bro just take any pkey and put ur rebelsim in it and simple press WRITE CARD

its not picking ur simcard

Hi justx24

Well it worked perfectly for the first 2 days but then the signal disappeared and I got NO SERVICE - and then it was as per my first post.

3G is switched OFF (incoming wont work with 3G ON)
At the moment ive got the nice "Vodafone UK" banner scrolling and full signal.
All calls incoming and outgoing are fine and text messages are working great.

I cant get onto the internet though!!

I'm using:
APN: Internet
U/N: Blank
P/W: Blank

Any ideas?
