| Rebel Sim stopped working on HTC Hero Hi there, My phone is HTC Hero Orange UK, trying to use a Vodafone UK sim in it. This has worked with a Rebel Simcard II for almost 1 year without problems, however last weekend I had the following problem: 1) Phone started saying "roaming" when I was on home network 2) Phone wouldn't send SMS 3) Rebooted - and now phone requires unlock code. Anyone any ideas? I have tried reflashing the Hero ROM and no change. Thanks. |

| How to get you Htc Hero working with Rebel Simcard II Quote:
If your rebel simcard II was working fine and are using this air plane model function the phone now asks for a unlock code follow the Video and change back to the correct mode for you phone like in the example video. Tip you can use a locked phone with the same network simcard as the phone is locked on to with the rebel simcard II to enter the Rebel STK menu to change to the correct mode or use an unocked phone. Change to mode 1 or mode 3 both are fine or if u have a programmer use the rebel sim ii V1.1 firmware where no need to change modes after programming and just insert to use. | |
