MSL data corrupt

Trying to unlock a S5230 phone. Have done 2 or 3 already and was fine. But today this phone wont unlock. (for some reason on the log it have not recorded the data when it went into servicemode) :-(

Rescanning ports...
Detected COM3 - STATUS: READY (COM)
Detected COM55 - STATUS: READY (MODEM)
13:46:08 - Broadcom Bootloader mode: Done
13:46:08 - Reading NAND data..Please Wait
(Remark: This can take up to 1 minute)
13:46:21 - Reading Done, Rebooting Phone
13:48:31 - Calculating MSL Security...Please Wait...
13:48:31 - MSL Data Corrupt

Now I wonder is the way to fix it goto advanced options and than put what IMEI and serial number that is on the handset? Or is it something else?

try set the speed to normal instead of fast, then remove battery from phone, insert battery, and power on, now press direct unlock

Did retry before posting normal transmission and took battery out, put it back in and power it up (mainly to be honest to get the IMEI & Serial off the back of the handset.) To check if it made any different

But something I didnt say at the beginning cause Jim who orginally did the handset only told me after I sent the original posting. (if it make a different.) First time he did have it on FAST, and it was doing it but whilst it was reading or writing to handset the battery of the phone fell out. Than when repeat that error came up.

Using NSPRO box as interface and E210 cable.

NNB: Surprise u replied SSA throught you would be too busy with new member of the family :-)..

If you hit *#06# what do you get? normal IMEI or is it damaged? Because it is very likely you have some (or a lot) of corrupted data. Loosing connection while unlocking is like when of the worst things that can happen (that is why manual states like 100 times make sure battery is fully charged ).

Just to keep you updated today did it on NSPRO and finish it and unlock it :-). Which is strange since one reason why got SRS cause NSPRO normally dont do S5600 / 5230 :-). Oh well at least it is unlock now he is happy.
