Advanced Genie clip Adaptor

I'm putting in an order for new GPG cables with my reseller tomorrow. I got the recent email from GPG and seen the Advanced Genie clip Adaptor cable;

I need to order one of these as the RJ45 clip is broken on my Genie Adaptor, but I was wondering what is the need of the USB connection is for?

BR's

It is used to power the mobile using an USB source instead of the box with obviously the power timing controlled by the box.
In this mode the box is safe in case of any wrong operation with the fbus cables (expecially UFC) or if the mobile is faulty.
It has as well a selector to correct the BSI value on the cables adding values 0 (no correction), 2.1, 3.3, 5.1 or 10 Kohm.
