| The TMA adapter is an add-on made to solve the local mode problem and the power problem workiing with nokia mobiles. The local mode problem classic is the mobile switches on instead of going to local mode: this mean the BSI resistor in the fbus cable you are using is lower then needed. To solve this problem just, instead of use SW1 to ON (only one dip switch must be ON at once, all the other must be OFF) which mean NO BSI Correction, use SW2 or SW3 and keep going until you can get the Local mode nedeed. About the power problem (mobile blinking instead of going to local mode) the solution is given connecting the USB cable to a free port of your computer or to a good self powerd USB hub or to a good (at least 1A) USB charger. Normally for the at133 cable (the classic N95-8gb cable with the 9V battery plug) I use SW2 on (all the others off) and the usb cable of the TMA connected to a 1A USB charger: test mode, local mode immediately.. If the mobile has problem to get the local mode, set directly SW8 ON BR Alex | |
