Use a TMA adapter, USB cable TMA connected to a free usb port of your computer or self powered hub and SW2 on on all the others on OFF.
In the tab bb5/flash thick were says "skip repower boot" and retry the unlock.

For sure cable problem had several problems all were solved by changing cable
