i just bought a cyclone key last week, only to find out that the software's last update was almost a year ago...

To this day only ATF is update in nokia phones. Cyclone shouldn't wait for boom update. It should update what ever it has now to demonstrate it's alive. This is what most boxes do when it dies. Promise big update that doesn't come never

cyclone team is not having interest in nokia fones anymore so no updates. And the response from the team to this thread is topic

yes thats true it is dead product as of now but we dont lose hope as the other said may be sooner or later they will bring us the update

well, two projects now stopped then....

mt-box and now cyclone...... sad

but business continues.

Yes it's bad but what I don't like is that they don't stop selling boxes. People get ripped off.

Hm why should we stop sales-Cyclone was, is and will be alive.
We work there- support users, help for them solve problems...We will stop sale, remove cyclone section and work when nobody will not need Us and everyone will stop use cyclone- but till even one user will use cyclone -we will work even for this only one!

Can you get me a definition of being "ripped off"?
Usually it is when you bought SOMETHING (spend money on) and receive NOTHING or SOMETHING which was advertised to have some features, BUT IT DON'T HAVE...

How you can call its RIP OFF when you get fully-functional device which works VERY WELL with most of Nokia Phones???

If you buy a phone, and manufacturer will stop delivering firmware updates to it (it happens when phone are OUT of production) then you blaim manufacturer for ripping you off

What update in Nokia now?
Hash reader for Xgold223? And what? ALL nokia phones comes out now with 20 digits....
Of course there is still some things to do in this field and i put LOT of R&D in this, especially in WP7, and will be done...

But i think more exciting will be for example unlocking your Samsung Android handsets without rooting/patching ...
