Bad thing is that other tool can read MEP and IMEI from few Blackberrys and Cyclone BB can not.
I faced this problem today too with BB 8100.

Guys I unlock blackberry almost every day and never had problems.
be sure you have the bb drivers installed and they are necessary, the mobile must be without password and not in mass memory mode.
If you follow these guidelines the tool works 100%

cyclone work well with BB..unlocked load of BB too
The uniq pb, is when phone readed, Mep is not selected automatically, so, have to select from drop list...But reading phone, it is readed fast an well. and codes r always 100%

if you get pb, check your phone, your pv and install desktop manager, so you r sure you have drivers well installed

Hi,
Thanks for the info. I am about to work on some 2 Blackberrys and I would like to quote:
"install desktop manager, so you r sure you have drivers well installed"!

How and from where do I install the desktop manager and drivers?
Thanks for a quick response.
Best regards.

Hi Mr T,
Thanks again for the quick response. I have managed to read and read accurately unlock codes(MEPS 2) for 2 Blackberrys and both have accepted the codes.
With the third one, there is this problem of PASSWORD being asked by the handset.Even though this password request is present, CYCLONE BLACKBERRY TOOL has managed to read info of the handset including the MEP 2(Network Code). The problem is how to get rid of the password so that I can input the network code.
Has anyone got any idea?
Best Regards.
