Is Nokia 1616 supported by Mxkey (NOT 1661)
Is this phone 1616 supported for unlock by cyclone?

If not what is the solution for this old phone that came out over a Year ago?

Exactly. I think its a waste of electricity for such a terrible phone!

Yes it is a waste. So what is this phone classed as then? DCT4 SL3?

Also do you know why cyclone is failing to read the phone when i click check fbus button?

Im using a 5 pin cable and they are on the correct pin outs but cyclone isn't picking it up?

If you get error doing it do these steps
a1) unitick Extract PM and save RPL then click on read lbf data.
if still error then
a2) backup imie
b2) restore imei
c2) unplug and replug the fbus cable
d2) go to point a1

When i click on Read Log2cod File on cyclone i get this message....

Ok it seems as tho i can do it with another 1616 but i cant read log file from the other.

Is reading a log file from a phone difficult with some firmware versions?

Flashed it to 6.20 (the same as the other phone that recorded log and worked) but cyclone will not read log from this other 1616 even after flashing to 6.20.

Solution?

Also where is ibf data in cyclone?

Backup/Restore IMEI, check again.
If still not work, read PMM in Binary format and send me.

hi.

none of the suggestions above worked on this phone: back-up restore IMEI, upgrade/downgrade.

initial firmware version was 4.65. i've upgraded to 6.20 than could not read LBF data.

it seems that upgrading the firmware prior to reading lbf data can get us in troble.
