yes you can use 4* 5870, but you need strong power supply with mother bord 4sli like gigabyte....

Been using a 5970 on an intel e2140 and 1.5 gb ram on win 7 64 (dual core 1.6 ghz, alias crap) without any problem.

which Catalyst is the best?
what salt speed can I expect?
is Win 7 64 faster for salt speed?

Hi

There are no major differences in the drivers, (I use a Catalyst 10) can only accelerate the calculation overlocking GPU card.
Support 2 GPU delivers Windows 7 (32bit/64bit)

I have 42 sec per salt
