I know the best is one or two 5970, but i already have 3* 5850...

do this core clock 775mhz memory clock 503mhz fan speed 100 percent.so far that configuration is stable for tirfire 5850.

As well no needs to use high voltage on the vrms
leave 1062 as it should be for 775 mhz or your card will overheat without any reason

Why on my msi afterburner the maxim on core clock is just 775 mhz? Shouldn't be to 850mhz??

I manage without any issue 2 5970 with a cheap asrock H55.
Have 2 more working fine on an Asus P7P55LX too
Both of them use an I5 as processor and 4 gb ram.
To get the most you must watercool the cards (I use EK waterblocks and Zalman reserators XT as reservoir, pump and control with working temperatures never over 64 c° on the hottest gpu with 900 Mhz GPU clock, 600 Mhz ram clock and 7300 Mh/s with oclhashcat lite)

I5 650MHZ
6g ddr3 1333mh
power supply 850w cooler mlaster
2 card crossfire hd5870

window 7 64 bit . driver ati catly 11.4

all be ok . i have 3178.5 speed calcul . but my pb . is the first card is hot at 81c but the second is 68c help me please for this pb

the fan of 2 card is set a 95%

the 1 card is locked at 775mhz and the second is 850 mhz

i use oclHashcat-lite-0.05

that is normal with stock cooling.......unlock card and try to adjust clock to 840-850mhz for both cards make sure they both run at 99% and you can get a speed of 3600-3700m/s.........

my gpu settings
gpu clock setings 905MHZ
memory clock settings 1390MHZ
power control 20%
and have 7200h/ms
my computer work 24 hours per day
is normal or setings down?
