I know that log2cod supports resume but is there any chance that log2cod could miss one salt when it is closed, especially too many times?

When you close log2cod it gives me an error like trying salt xxxx and peeknamedpipe(). Is it posible that when this error occurs, log2cod skips a salt?

hopefuly not, because just now I'm calculating one 7230 and I have to shutdown my PC approx.4times till now
now it passed approx 50% of all salts without NCK (so I'm still waiting)

No you are wrong logtocode only SAVE salt that got info that are tested and got time when was ended nothing more.

is there anyone can recommended the software tools for overclocking?
or how to set my computer effectively?

i use core i7, with Dual HD5870 Crossfire, and 6GB DDR3 Memory with win7 64bit OS;
but it still to long, need about 45hours to get one code only
and i get only 37s in average per salt


and don't say for use HD5970 cause it doesn't exist anymore in my country, HD5870 is the Best can be use for BF now.




ps: hope cyclone team can realease BOOM software for supporting new GPU in BF process. cause we can work more efficienly in BF process (price for one 5870 is almost same with 6970 with more capabilities)

buy another 5870 then you can get at least 22-23/salt

your max time for single calculation is more then 48 hours.
You cant get less then 38,37 even on over clocking.
Acording to my little exp dont use overclocking cause its a long turm game to calculate a code so its not healthfully action for cards life.
for best performance you need an other pc having 2x5870 after that you can use both pc,s for single file calculation and get a speed of 20-21 per salt.

Small correction SH1 spped is :
1x5970= 2300 single GPU 725
2x5870= 2600 single GPU 875
without overclocking and after overclock:
1x5970= 2700-2800 single GPU 920
2x5870= 3000-3100 sinlge GPU 950

GPU estimations

1x5970 and 1x5870 = 3600 without overclocking

a question regarding random salts...does log2cod checks the same salts no matter the phone?

Hi,

Log2cod has been working well over past few weeks I have unlocked 20+ 2730 all code found some in a few hours, some a few days as expected.

But the last week I have had 4 phones where log2cod did not calculate code. I only had 2 successful unlocks?

Can anyone explain this or offer advice???
