When I try Nokia BB5 No TP 1.04, Sometimes it opens twice.

After many tries I get:

I have unlocked most N95s no problem but this one will not unlock (I had 1 other one that did not unlock).

I am now using powered USB hub, bench power supply via diode to +batt terminal, 7.5k resistor to BSI and now phone is being detected. I can do CRT backup in JAF and CHK is ok.

I have to click Unlock several time before the procedure finds phone and starts.

I am running out of ideas. Here is log:

I have removed diode, connected bench PSU directly to Batt+ and increased BSI resistance to 15k. Phone goes into 'test mode' now (I'm sure it was 'local mode' before) but still the same result. Goes right through the unlock procedure ok but fails right at the end.

Can anyone help please, I am tearing my hair out?

After trying many different combinations of cables and resistors, my N95 gets detected and goes through the unlocking procedure but cannot be detected after unlock. Phone powers up ok and still works with original 3 sim. Phone is still locked to 3.

What is your story?

The only system I have to unlock them, without having a mobile not found on fbus interface during the operations is keeping my computer busy coping big files from a directory to another for all the unlocking process..
Normally i use the Divx movies folder (30 gb of files).
if i dont soon or later the job stops for the mobile not found error

And olso this solution not work and phone not stabl in local mode.
1- donwgrade version from 30.0.15 to 20.0.15 but same
2- upgrade version from 20.0.15 to 31.0.17 but same
3- downgrade version from 31.0.17 to original orange flash but same.

i've got many problems too with the N95 unlock.but finally i made test point cu'z from my opinion it's the most easiest test point ever made.so for how much time did you lost you coul'd unlock 20 pieces i think

.and by the way i also made a power supply for J.A.F for not stable local mode and now works great.

Posts: 425 Member: 411486 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68	i've got many problems too with the N95 unlock.but finally i made test point cu'z from my opinion it's the most easiest test point ever made.so for how much time did you lost you coul'd unlock 20 pieces i think .and by the way i also made a power supply for J.A.F for not stable local mode and now works great.
