Now the Problem is,
NO Available thrid party flasher that can correctly rebuild certificate for PA_SL2 with protected firmware (which many people says SL3 Based phones) !!

even the authenticate Nokia flasher (Tuscon and Phoenix) still do it with some tricks !!

2. INTRODUCTION
Tucson_API_Components.zip is the latest Tucson add-on installation package for Phoenix. It contains
following components.
· tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.41 ( Standard ) for normal use
· tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.42 ( Special ) to be used when experiencing problems with SIM Lock
version
These two dll´s should only be used with the latest
· Phoenix service software release 2009.4.12.37934
· Tucson Add on package 2008_50_2

The reason for releasing these two dll´s corrects a problem caused by two different SIM Lock formats and
how they are implemented in the product software. Some phone models request SIM Lock data in format 2
even if they only support version 1. This leads to SIM Lock data writing error when using the Tucson
system for product code changes, or BB 5 certificate restoring. Procedures will fail with error messages e.g
“ SimLock data writing failed” and “Product detection enabled but Simlock/product code failed “.
When tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.40 delivered in the Tucson Add on package 2008_50_2 is replaced by
these newer versions it is possible to detect the phones which are affected by this problem ( with version
1.0.041) and perform Product code change or certificate restoring ( with version 1.0.042)
This workaround must be used until product programs release new product sotware versions which correct
this problem.
This has no impact to the end user and only appears when Tucson product code change or
certificate restoring procedures are used in services.


3. CHANGES & ERROR CORRECTIONS FROM PREVIOUS TCSCLIENT.DLL VERSION 1.0.0.40
· tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.41 ( Standard ) adds information about the sim lock writing failure to
the Phoenix UI. When SIM Lock writing procedure fails, message “Phone sw doesn't support
used simlock version “is shown on the UI. Otherwise there are no changes tp previous version
1.0.0.40
· tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.42 ( Special ) must be used when tcsclient.dll version 1.0.0.41
(Standard) gives error message “Phone sw doesn't support used simlock version “. It forces
the SIM Lock data to be written in correct format for phones with problematic product SW version.

That's the real problem with phone use PA_SL2 with protected firmware or so called SL3 Based phones by many people !!!
