6300 downgrade problem (ANSWERED) - GSM-Forum

hello, how can i downgrad nokia 6300?i whant downgrad v.07.30 to v07.21.
When i tick "downgrade" appears mesage: can't prepare sw downgrade, continue away? tell me another methode if exist tested, how to downgrade this phone?

Phone should be in local mode for downgrade purpose

bro. take backup of rpl, now flash it with v7.21 if ask for continue for downgrade, click yes & after flash if phone doesnt on then from service option go to quick fix only tick downgrade from this image & click do job. now phone is downgraded & working. have a good day.

bro the solution is backup full rpl then downgrade the phone to low v07.21 version then flash the phone to v07.21
this is a my solution and work in all bb5 "no sl3" and dct4

first of all, BACK UP RPL. then u can do what u want with the phone

6300 downgrade erorr in mx_key help

- backup rpl: select RAP.
- erase flash: get addr > select all, un mark safe erase. press Erase Flash
- reflash with needed firmware version
- BB5 > Service > Imei & Security > Simlock > Repair SImlock > click Repair SpLock
- BB5 > Service > PM > Press Repair SD, follow on screen message
