6730 rm-547 ---> RM-566 convertion - GSM-Forum

Is it possible to convert 6730 from rm-547 to rm-566?

rm-547 firmware is vodafone branded only, so i want to debrand it.

Are there any trick or attention before try that oparation?

Someone have already done?

it's have a same hardware but c'ant confirme if RM-566 work with RM-547

I will try. After flashing phone with RM-547 to RM-566, phone is working but with dameged SL and IMEI. After flash back to RM-547, phone does not power on, even to local mode.

different PAPUB KEYS can NOT be crossflashed properly.

just tell me that you have FULL RPL BACKUP while the phone is in good working condition, and let's talk about it.

Yes, before flashing, i'am making with MX-Key, full backup rpl. But, i don't know how i can repair it. When phone flashed as RM-566, and i'am writing this rpl for repairing, it's does not help. But when phone flashed as RM-547, it does not enter to local mode for writing rpl.
I'll try flash for testing with 6720 RM-564, the same phone entering to local mode with damaged SL and IMEI.
If you can, help me please repair my phone.

Full erase
get addr, untick safe erase
full flash with original RM version.
write good pm and rpl

And now, even after RM-566 phone is not entering to local mode. Only After RM-564.
