i have the same problem with my one mxbox Orange. i buy it when i was in holidays. when return sunday,i succeed install it after have problem of Dongle not detected. i update firmware to 050, try check NXP Bug but not success always show error.....so don't know if have problem of bug. i try read phone in fbus mode it is ok. so i synchronise for update file.also when to the end.today i try to open but no detected. i try on many computer the same can't be detected in device manager or say usb error when start. red led rehn yellow are blinking one after another without stop. i try smard card in another dongle it is ok. problem is with HTI. i'm sure it is not problem of installation because i try all procedure find in forum but no way. now how to do as i didn't even work one phone with it? no way to return it as it going to cost too much for me.

blinking led indicates HTI FW problem. please update HTI.

try to update first your HTI box.

- do not plug hti to pc
- install 3.5rev1.7
- open mobileex.exe, ignore no dongle detection
- press update HTI, plug HTI to usb immediately.
- proceed with driver installation after update FW is done.

you have done with FW update.
and your box is orange, all orange box not have chip issue.
