Hi...

I dont understand why people waste money on series 6. I mean this card you bought has 3032 stearms and your card cost under $1000 USD

The 5970 has 3200 streams and cost less than 700 USD.


6 series for unlocking market is not the TOP graphics card. Sell it and get 5970. If you cant get a 5970 (sold out) get 2x5870 (crossfire) = 3200 streams = 1 x 5970

What i dont understand is a card like 4870x2 has 1600 streams and a 1 x 5870 has 1600 steams yet they say 4870x2 unlocks sl3 max time 13 days
and 5870 in 8 days (max time)

But they both have the same streams.

Stream clock is what looks for the code so the more you have the less time you wait. So why do the both cards above have different times? GPU must have something to do with it or something else like memory?

Because they have different Clock rate , and this influence a litle on the calculation speed

4870x2 = 750 Mhz Clock rate default

5870 = 850 Mhz Clock rate default

If u do Overclock u will see speed up
