Certificate not on phone or sim

Hi all,

i flashed a nokia 2680s rm-392 which had auto power off problem with hwk. Now when i try to download a signed java application, its says certificate not on phone or sim. Is there a way to install this certificate to my phone or can mxkey software fix this? Infact, it happens to every dct4 and bb5 phone that i flash.

use mxkey.. auto power off caused when wd(watch dog) timer in cpu section is active.. in mx key there is a "Super dongol key repair" option.. just click there with internet connection.. and your problem will be solved..

I am trying to install opera mini 4. and I know that date method you talking about, and am pretty sure its nothing to do with my problem.

you know, my phone is a dct4, not a bb5.

My problem is like this: when you buy a brand new phone, it has some validation certificates like thawte, verisign etc. but when you flash the phone with, say a generic unbranded firmware, you lose most of those certificates. If you had maybe 17 or 18 certificates, you may find that you just have maybe less than 10 certificates left.

@n2roy, I never knew about that auto power off problem. is there a way to actually check its status before i superdongle my phone? and do you know how i can install more application validation certificates to my phone via mxkey? is there a way i can copy them from another phone?

What the 2nd link for?? And all unsigned applications are working fine, i have other important reasons why i need signed applications. Access to camera and filesystem, are some. By the way, i know enough about signed and unsigned apps. I just need to get certificates to my phones, coz some apps i wanted to dowload dnt have unsigned version. So do you think the firmware u linked might have certificates? Coz my firmware dnt have
