how to read sha file with MXKEY and USB cable only ## (ANSWERED) - GSM-Forum

hi all,
i am facing problem while trying to read sha file from nokia phones with MXKEY (SL3 Activated) and usb cable.

i have MXKEY version 3.5 rev 1.3

When i read the phone with HTI stadalone SL3 Unlocker V1.0 (just MXKEY and USB cable, i do not have HTI box) it reads the phone perfecly:

Phone Type: RM-578 (Nokia 2730 classic)
Sw Version: V 09.41 02-12-09 RM-578 (c) Nokia
Product Code: 0593198
Imei plain: 359370031xxxxxxx-6

Imei net: 359xxxxxxxxxx
Version: SIMLOCK SERVER
Provider: O2 UK Ltd. , Country: United Kingdom
Counter: 0/3, 0/10

but when i click on READ SL3 Hash button it gives me the following error. (i will repeat that i do not have HTI box but just MXKEY and usb cable)

Backup already exist.

yeah i did read that but it do not tell me if i can do it with mxkey only. it is the procedure on how to do it with HTI and as i mentioned that i do not have HTI.

plz advice on if we can read the file without HTI (just MXKEY and USB cable)

Hi,
you have to do it on HTI.

dongle only can not do that feature.
