How to reset user code of c1-01 via USB cable - GSM-Forum

Hi,

How to reset user code of c1-01 or any other cell phone of nokia via USB cable with HTI.

1= Install your mobile flash file .
2= Open mx-key exe.
3= Select as nokia usb rom.
4= Open nokia service tool.
5= Select mobile model.
6= Select mobile mcu file(if not updated automatically).
7= connect your cell phone with mx-box.
6= click on BUS CHECK.

After successfully BUS CHECK operation.You will see service button will appear with Flash button.Now you can reset user code without flashing it.

if your phone is keypad locked, I mean it asking for password on start-up, u don't have acces to usb. Must put in local mode with special cable... home made or gpg or othel tool

1ST connect your turned off mobile via usb with computer then turn it on.

It will search for your mobile drivers & install them automaticaly. When it complete the installation then turn it off again & reconnect with cable & then do any operation.

I hope it will be solve.

just upgrade or downgrade the firmware of the phone... tested by me

You are right but bro we are talking about here to reset code without flashing.

I have reset security code does not matter it is applied on on/off or on keypad . I have log for it but I'm failed to upload it here. Any time i try to upload anything here it says that failed to upload.

bro. no need any experiment for local mode, just connect switch off mobile to pc with usb cable & click bus check button mxkey will show info & your mobile will be automatic go in local mode then you can change user code.............
