HTI Box Dead (ANSWERED) - GSM-Forum

Hi, I just got my new Orange HTI Box, connected it to PC LED's blinked red then yellow - Followed the directions to update HTI and now my box is DEAD - No sign of life when connected to computer - No LED / No sound when connecting to USB - No Change in device manager.

Please help

bro. check usb to box cable or change it, if not solve then replace it from reseller as it must be in warranty, but dont open or tamper its seal.

I seen your post - thanks for the info - ive tried a different USB cable to no avail. when i leave the HTI box plugged in for 20 mins it lights up again and then comes up as Unknown Device.

bro. reinstall mxkey & do this:try to update your HTI box like this.

- do not plug hti to pc
- install 3.5rev1.7
- open mobileex.exe, ignore no dongle detection
- press update HTI, plug HTI to usb immediately.
- proceed with driver installation if needed after update FW is done.
will work for you.

sir, what about mxbox only shows red light, no blinking, not detected at all. what does it indicate? software or hardware malfunction, sir? any chance to recover it? need honest reply.
