HTI Cannot Read Phone (ANSWERED)

MX Box is giving "*****trap" errors. I plug in a 6030, the phone give some funny sounds. When Bus Check, it went off like it's bout to explode. So loud I had to pull off the fbus. It was ok with the E6-00 but when I plug it in another phone, the following error. Tried several other phones (BB5 & DCT4) but to no luck.

Quote:
MXKEY [FT SCR2000 0], SN: C08Jabbacks
Using device: HTI, FW ver: 00.50, SN: 0000Jabbacks
Connection status: UHCI:HUB:USB 2.00 (Full-speed)
Driver: WinUSB, ver: 3.5.1.0
Module ver: 1.0.0.19798(05-01-2012), Library ver: 1.0.0.13703(05-01-2012)
Boot error: 02 00 00 73
- Repeat the procedure. Sometimes it is a matter of temporary communication problem or similar.
- Check that all used cable are solid without any visible damage and have good contact. If possible, try with other cables.
- On rare occasions phone might be damaged or dead. So, if possible, try with another phone.

Now, after reading THIS THREAD , I would like to make sure box is having the same problem here before I mess it up.

Thanks!

Files are up-to-date! DCT4/BB5 tabs, no problem with that, checked before I do Bus Check.

I put back the E6-00, select BB5 and still cannot read. Using USB, it reads ok. Plug in 1208b, still cannot, same error as above.

Can somebody confirm if it's the box.

It was working but after I plug in the noisy phone, it's like this. Oh, also I opened the box and it smells like something burned. On the chip BCP69, there's a small hole exactly on top of the middle connector on the output side.

Your reseller should replace if for free, even if your HTI is not any more in warranty.

If you got problem with your reseller and he do not want to change for you
or you want to save shipping costs, we give the chance for ppl like you to
get MXBOX at 15 usd. Here is direct link for pay with PayPal:

Mr. Manole,

If reseller (gsmserver) does not want to replace box and I get it from you for $15USD, who's going to pay shipping costs?

For what reason would the reseller deny replacement if that is the case?

If any of the above is unsatisfactory, I will have the local shop replace transistor if I can find any available on island.

FYI: I'm located in an isolated island in the middle of the pacific and parts are very hard to find.

You have edited your log and you didn't give serial number.
Probably your HTI have NXP BUG and changing that transistor will not help you.

What is your box OPT ID ?

Manole

So the NXP bug causes the box to smell like something has burned inside? On the serial #'s, I've seen so many cracked softwares and I don't want my serial #s to be one of them being used anywhere else.

Will give you thru PM if you want. PLease elaborate more on the $15USD replacement. Who's paying freight/shipping cost?

Thanks!
