1 - install manualy driver from C:\mobileEx\3.5\data\drivers\universal-ftdi
2 - remove hti interface and connect again
3 - install manualy driver from C:\mobileEx\3.5\data\drivers\hti\htibox

1st problem from incorrect smart card instalation. before u try instal hti box driver.
try to uninstall all smart card, then after update firmware (if u succses updated firmware 1.17, skip updated),
instal smartcard reader manually chose :hti smartcard reader(winusb) (using hti box).

well remove all driver thar u have for mx box
now u should remove u mx installation too.
now restart ur computer
after that install ur mx software from the beginning(dont plug in ur hti), let the installation finish the job, restart the computer once again.
the next step plug in ur hti to usb cable then wait the computer install the driver automatically.
now try to start ur mx software.

good luck....

I think this must be the real problem.
let's see it.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The very first time I installed mxbox I also installed the HTI card reader..
it f.ucked my whole windows and I had to use my ghost image to restore windows to original state.
Now, (i didnt install 3.5 1.0) I installed 3.5 1.1 directly, installed the drivers update and on the next step (use new drivers WinUSB) I lost the cardreader and the box cannot start.
right led keep blinking (I am sure it has something to do with the faulty card reader driver)
reckon I have to start over with my ghost image again, from the beginning.

how many of you guys, with working mxbox got this message

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

about drivers not compatibles with language.
I got the same message the first time, but it worked (3.5 ver 1.0)
I just havent been able to "update drivers" for USB smart card reader. and force windows to use the one at HTI directory.

solved this way
disconnect mxbox
device manager - show hidden devices - USB smart card reader - update driver manualy(from C:\mobileEx\3.5\data\drivers\hti)
now device manager show HTI smart card reader(winusb) instead of USB smart card reader

connect mxbox and work...

someone with a working hti can upload just the hti drivers directory, to compare with the one I got?
C:\mobileEx\3.5\data\drivers\hti because no matter how many times I try, windows ALLWAYS says that there is no driver better than the installed.
only explanation: there must be some files missing.

Code:

I am not going to install windows just to work with 1 box.... it is not that important.
