the most importent question.....

i read many posts and threads but i cant understand the right way to repair (save the phones of nokia) while handling this phone with hwk or mx key.

my question is:-

1]what can i do
if I have full pm backups( 7digit product code wise) for dct4 and dct4+
2]what can i do
if I have full pm backups for bb5(sl1,sl2,sl3)
if i have pm1 & pm309
if i have full pm without 120 & 308
if i have rpl backups rpl of all section

NOW
I KNOW IF WE GET SECURITY TEST FAILED IN SL1,SL2,SL3
THE SOLUTION IS
WRITE THE PM1 & PM309 WITH PMM AUTH
I KNOW IF WE GET SUPERDONGEL INVALID IN
SL1,SL2,SL3

THE SOLUTION IS
REPAIR SD>SD AUTH>WRITE PM1 & PM309
I KNOW IF WE GET SIMLOCK INVALID IN
SL1,SL2

THE SOLUTION IS
REPAIR SIMLOCK>MAKE SIMLOCK RPL>UPDATE SP LOCK(MX-KEY)
NOW MY 1ST QUESTION COMES........
CAN I WRITE PM FROM ABOVE BACKUPS AND REPAIR SIMLOCK CURRUPTED IN SL1 SL2? AS WE KNOW SIMLOCK DATA IS IN PM308 (SL1)
SIMLOCK DATA IS IN PM120 & PM308 (SL2)
CAN I RESTORE PM120 AND/OR PM308
IF YES THEN HOW?
BUT I DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHICH ONE IS RESTORABLE AND WHICH ONE IS NOT?
SO PLZ ADVICE ME WHAT CAN I DO IN THIS CASE.
MY 2ND QUESTION IS SAME LIKE 1ST BUT ITS SL3
CAN I RESTORE PM120 AND/OR PM308
IF YES THEN HOW?

Hi!

You can write backup PMs to another phones but you must remember:
- You must EXCLUDE PM 120, 308.
- You must first make PM backup of the phone you are going to write PM to. So you don't overwrite phone specific calibration data.
(if anything goes wrong, you can revert it original PM)

About writing PM 120 and 308:
- You CAN NOT write these field to another phone as it will DAMAGE SIM LOCK DATA.
- Every phone has its own unique 120 and 308 filed.
- IF you have backup-ed PM from same phone, then YES, you CAN write it back to the same phone without any problem.

Hope your question has been answered.

Br,
Shadab Ahmad
