MX-KEY failed to RESET to Factory Settings - GSM-Forum

Mx-key almost every time failed when i do factory resets all in BB5 phones , it resets only security code.

but factory resets works fine when i set option to do factory settings while flashing..

any other user experienced this problem ?

will you be please to post log of RESET to Factory Settings from mx key from a working bb5 set?
here not yet noticed such an error .

Its log is nothing .. it displayes as all are done OK... OK .... But the actually only security code were reseted ... userdata still in phone memory. Next time you just try "Bus Check" and "Reset All" . Post your result.

No it works fine on both- phone must be in test/local mode.
do scan before doing anything

here try this go in imei and security tab then click read or write new select phone memory to change sec code or reset it there.....and make sure use ufs and update your usb version and modify also your jaf box if you use jaf to perform test mode accurate..

i am also facing this type of problem many a time with mxkey..
all is done OK but the phonebook and images is not erased ,

any solution ?
