Is MXKEY hardware selective? - GSM-Forum

I have been trying to install my dongle on my desktop computer - a pentium 4 running xp sp2- with no success. I thought it was corrupted OS, so i formatted and reinstalled windows. I installed dongle, but when I try to run it I get a windows error message "mobileEx Professional Tool has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" I have formatted and reinstalled three times, same result.

Meanwhile, the tool works perfectly on my laptop, running vista. On a second desktop - an old dell p3 also running xp sp2- it runs well, but I get errors when unlocking, especially 2330c.

If anyone has encountered a similar problem, I would like to know how it was solved. Thanks.

no.
all device is compatible with MXKEY.

if got like that "something" happen with your PC
can be : corrupted installer , etc..

check your system memory if it has more than 1 memory try check one by one or try to use new or swap from other system.after reinstalling the operating system install all the drivers and just mobileEx alone only and check if the error still exists or not.whts ur windows xp service pack 2 or 3?

service pack 2, just like on my other pc. I will check the system memory, thanks...
