n82 no local mode... - GSM-Forum

i have a "downgraded" n82 that blink white screen, after downgrade and upgrade .

i flashed now v31 again but phone doesn't go in local mode or test mode. tested many cable with 5, 7.7, 10 k resistor without good results.

phone flashed perfect but don't finalize flash with AFP....

i have full rpl backup but it not helped to restore phone in working condition.

i flashed ENO v30 and fullflash v31 but not solved, no local mode, no AFP

looks like your phone has APE problem: this normally happens when Fbus and usb get connected in the same moment to the mobile but I think is not your situation.
Try a full erase, ENO, Flash V31 and afterward RPL back-up.
The mobile using this route should get again the nokia logo and the local mode as the certs are all in the only issue will be the Imei. Once you got the local mode (if you got it) you can use any escamotage to write back the PM308 back-up

seem problem after downgrade n96 no local mode repair only with firmware original present.

do you mean firmware version of the phone before downgrade?

firm is v31 but already flashed again with v31 but problem isn't solved.

by the way, i have successfully done SCAN anfter flash this afternoon. only one time....and no more.

n82 doesn't support dead usb flashing

put usb cable - put battery(must be 80 -100% fully charged) - press power - install usb driver(this could be done automatically if you have already install nokia connectivity driver...

run mxkey - choose nokia usb ROM - click connect - click nokia service tool
choose model - click market else choose mcu-ppm-cnt - and the last one is click flash...

still you cant follow my instruction better read here

hey guy, i'm not a newbie in nokia service.
if phone doesn't power ON and N82 doesn't support DEAD USB FLASHING (i mean N82, not mxkey).

PS. I KNOW Mxkey support dead usb flashing but...but...with phone/mcu that support dead usb flashing
