N96 How to downgrade... (ANSWERED) - GSM-Forum

I have N96 it was 12.35 version. It was not playing videos on internet browser. So I upgraded it to version 30. Now its camera not working I searched forum So I need to downgrade it to version 12 again. But I am not able to downgrade it. I used alternate way I made full erase then flashed with version 12 and Restore imei rpl, Pm and phone's scan log is below.

Then I flashed again with version 30 and phone works fine but camera is not working...

I have full backup of rpl and pm... I need to downgrade it in working condition what is proper solution.....Please advise...

Adnon brother, see here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f550...an-do-1443542/ , very nice definition with clear image by Gluez for downgrade, just follow it & will solve easily, you had done half procedure right.

I appreciate your interest but unfortunately I tried via usb but this phone is not working with usb cable always gives error...

full BACKUP
full erase the phone
flash eno then RESTORE RPL
flash with 11.18 then upgrade the phone to 12.43

Use the same EXACT way on his given link. But use FBUS as interface.

I did it downgrade.... Now phone is working 100%... Camera is also back working....
How I did it....
1. Backup RPL and full PM
2. Erase phone using (Press Get Ad*******, Untick force whole flash & Safe flash)
3. Now select This file (Erase File) in mcu and press flash to erase Nand chip...
4. Flash with your desire (lower) version
5. Write backup PM - Then Restore Imei for repairing imei...
6. Now Press scan if security test failed just Press Repair SD and write Rfbb data.

This process worked for me...
