need help - No security dongle detected - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I would like to ask why does Mobilex say "no security dongle detected" when i start it but anytime i plug in the dongle into an USB port where i have never plugged it in before then it works after an application restart. The problem is there are no more USB ports where i haven't used it yet.
Is there any solution to solve this issue?

when u install its software tick smart card drivers and then install it..............

did you use any registry cleaner or registry repair tool? i already face this problem after using those tools. uninstall mx-key, rocky200 driver from add/remove program and install again mxkey and tick all the available options. restart pc and plug the dongle again. this time, do not run or repair with registry tool.

i am facing similar problem,i have uninstalled and re-installed mxkey setup but all to no avail.the dongle shows light and the card and handler drivers are all ok.what next,or could it be my card is dead?

reinstall the driver and check in another com port also bro

try restart your pc and run the programme again

i think you forgot to uninstall the ROCKEY200 driver from add/remove program. uninstall it, restart pc and install again mxkey and tick all the available options while installing. restart pc again and try, hope it will solve your problem

Then you have dongle hardware problem, not software.
This is supposition only since you do not tell us all info, like
what type of dongles you have ? (make pictures with explications)

yesterday i buy new mxkey and having same problem. i try to install again but same problem. plz help me. i also download and install MXKEY 3.4 REV 1.2

Go to device manager

smart card drivers

on smart card holder reinstall or update drivers

choose to install manualy the drivers

have a disk

then choose the drivers from this directory:

C:\mobileEx\3.4\data\drivers\card\FT2K

and choose the driver shown and then over ride the old drivers

then should ask you to confirm and it will install both for holder and card device.

try to follow these steps and follow screenshots posted and post results.
