1st backup off rpl
2nd write pm
then try unlock

I too have faced this problem
This error comes when using ufs as interface and specially with RM-436 7210 when
repairing simlock ..........
use jaf as interface.

No,This Is Not Right.

I Have Repaired 7210s SIMLOCK data corrupted With Ufs Device Yesterday.

I Think You Can Repair Simlock Data With This Trick.

Check *Make SIMLOCK RPL*
Check PA_SL2
& Click At Update Splock.

Some 7210 have this problem and it can't solve by MX .
Clossflashing with 5130 firmware may be help but not on all cases.
better to use other nokia suite on this fone..
else other pb can be solve with MX very easily and cheaply.

in my case ,
just erase EEPROM area , afterward retry SIMLOCK repair
