HuawEI E1550 Signals problem - GSM-Forum

i've successfully unlocked modem E1550 using MDM tool but problem is it doesn't detect my CDMA simcard i've readed the NV file also and attahced here kindly help me how can i resolve the problem or let me know this modem on which frequencies does it work or which NV should i write so it will work in Ethiopia.

same Problem here.Before the unlock the E1150 was able to find the networks but was locked.I get the unlock code in a post here,it works, but now the "mobile partner" shows no signal! Do I need to reset the modem? Wich firmware/software are the best for this model? Please help! Thanks in advice!

Do you mean in the "Mobile Partner"? The settings are ok because a Huawei E156B works with no problems.
With the E1550, when I run "tools/diagnostics" In "network status" says Network:unknown

The problem could be an actualization that I do trying to unlock the modem. I have now the firmware v11.608.12.04.21 downloaded from www.three.com.au. Is there a place where I can download old firmwares for my E1550 or E1553? I have lookin' A LOT with Google but no luck! Now my modem is useless! TKS!

Huawei e1550 is gsm/umts modem not support cdma....

Hi,
PLEASE HELP…I purchased Idea Net setter E1550 on October 2010. I just hated the product because of the speed and the costly offers. Then the next month I unlocked my Net setter successfully by myself. After that I was very happy with the product and I continued using it with Aircel sim with low cost GPRS plans. Everything was working fine until March 2011. Then on April suddenly my net setter stopped connecting to internet. That is Mobile Partner connects to the internet and shows the status of “Data Connection Established”. But on my Windows 7 it shows Internet not connected and shows a caution symbol on the Network notification area in the taskbar. I reinstalled Windows 7 on my computer several times and tried but again the same I got. I even locked the Net setter and unlocked it again, and update the firmware also, but all in vain. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.
