Can someone please explain to me how to use the flashcode,I would really appreciate any guidelines.

I tried changing the original software but never got the option to insert any code.Still thanks for response.

it depends on model/version, not all firmwares asks for flash code.

You are right because I have been able to upgrade to some versions without inserting any flashcode but last time I wanted to upgrade to a newer version, the update procedure terminates itself during the update, and still does not give me the option of inserting the flashcode.
