Can't seem to upgrade a P900 to a P910. Pls help. - GSM-Forum

I have cruiser 4.20 (pro) and am trying to upgrade a P900 to a P910. It went wrong to start with, so I used teh testpoint to reboot.

I have downloaded the latest upgrade files from the cruiser web site:

P910u_East_EMEA_CDA162005-4_R2A16.PDA.flp
P910u_Phone_CXC162022_R4A006.AVR.flp
P910u_Symbian_CXC162041_R2A17.PDA.flp

I boot the phone using cruiser in P80x/P90x (PDa-Part) mode whch changes the extra tab to a Flash tab - this is the only tab I have.

I then flash the PDA part with P910u_East_EMEA_CDA162005-4_R2A16.PDA.flp then P910u_Symbian_CXC162041_R2A17.PDA.flp - all works OK.

I can't flash the ARM as my 3 images files do not seem to work.

This is as far as I can get, there are no unlock menus (also need to do that), I don;t get the Flash AVR optin (it's greyed out) and if I boot standard I get no more options.

I need to flash this phone and then unlock - any ideas??

I also have TOtal Multiserver, but it will not unlock and gives an error
I also have UFS 3 which will not let me boot phone.

I am going round in circles. ANy ideas ???

You're right with the first two steps.

However, the first thing to do is attach to phone part (the P900 has two parts, normal "phone" part and the PDA part.)

You must first of all attach to phone part, THEN flash P910u_Phone_CXC162022_R4A006.AVR.flp

Then detach and attach to PDA part, then flash
P910u_East_EMEA_CDA162005-4_R2A16.PDA.flp
P910u_Symbian_CXC162041_R2A17.PDA.flp

It is very important you DO NOT flash those to the phone part, ONLY flash P910u_Phone_CXC162022_R4A006.AVR.flp to the phone part.

The ARM button is only used to flash the Bluetooth module of the phone, when attached to the PDA part.
