Convert Z800i CID36 back to RED again


Hi,

I converted a Z800i from RED to BROWN with TP. Is it possible do undo that?

Yes, of course.
Use this for V800/Z800 only:
  1. Start phone in recovery more (force CID to 36),
  2. Repair certificate and turn off phone,
  3. Turn off Force RSA recovery mode option and attach the phone,
  4. Press Repair EROM,
  5. Turn off the phone.

D750/K750/W800 have EROM too, but a slightly different approach is needed.
For phones without EROM it is necessary to repair certificate and reflash whole firmware.

Cool, it works. Is this stuff I could have figured out myself?

Also, can you obtain "3" Branded firmware for Z800i for total recovery (if I have to return a phone on warranty).

i trying ur steps with fail... a nag message appears with "mismatch phone color/ CID" ???

any help ??
