cruiser installation

the folowing message appear each time i tried to open cruiser s\w. I just formated my system and installed the latest installer 10:43

"An error has occured in the frame window.
The message is:
Acess violation at adress 01AAE288 in module 'slbio4.dll.Read
of address."

Even if you don't have cruiser pro, all next versions of Cruiser will work, only "Cruiser Plus" functions won't be available.

So you can install Cruiser 11.04

hi..got my cruiser plus 2 today..i plugged it in and it said usb device not recognised...need help in installing it please..any help appreciated..thanks in advance..

Install Cruiser software first.
Then plug cruiser Box in.
When you get message new USB device found, navigate to Cruiser folder 'e-gate drivers' and install them.
If you need more detailed inststructions post again.
Let us know if you're successful.

Once the Cruiser software is installed you can:

Run the software
Click 'help'
Click 'intrduction'
Click installing software'

It's a bit outdated now but should still work.

HI..THANX for reply..i got 06 cruiser cp box installed..do i uninstall that first?and what version should i install?..again thanx

I always un-install old versions of Cruiser before installing new ones.
Once you have got it working check the cruiser website for latest version.

hi...thanx for reply...right then...i uninstalled version 10.43...installed version 11.00 and still cannot install...do i remove cruiser completely and start from the beginning?

nothing..install lets say...11.00..plug in dongle and computer says usb not recognised..i tried different ports and nothing...tried on my laptop where i also have cruiser installed and it found the drivers and then it said usb not recognised..

Can you read the instructions in the Cruiser software?
Do you get a 'New hardware found' popup window

READ THE INSTRUCTION AGAIN AND AGAIN.."new hardware found" does not pop up..getting a bit cheesed off now...thanx for helping so far..

Click:

Hardware
Device manager
view
Show Hidden devices
Universal Serial Bus Controllers
Action
Print
Print to file

hi...i could not sort out the drivers..but what i did was change the card from the new one and put it in the old cp box..and it works as far as i know...just a quick question though..does the "direct unlock button" highlight only when i have cruiser logs?...and thank you very much

Beforeyou start using Cruiser just check that your credits are recognised.

Plug in dongle
Run Cruiser
Click:
Extras
Get Credit Info

If this is ok copy and paste your Cruiser log here, when ou work on phone, if you hae problems.
It's the quickest way to a solution.
