I had a Z600 that stuck on "activating pone..." too.
I chose Z600 in program and just waited until it was ready.
Look and see if program working, if it is just wait, it take aboute 20 mins before I hade done "activating pone..." on that Z600

Sure thing.

In the Settings Menu of Fighter, click the "Force Manual Ignition" button.

you'll then have to keep pressing the power button on the phone for each boot (same as if you were plugged into a T28 cable)

After a while, it might take 100 presses though usually it's only 10-20, the phone should boot.

It sounds like the control line on the phone is broken if it's not getting past activating phone. But if it's not powering on, something else (hardware) sounds like the problem.

thanks for the help but it was a no go. this Z600 has about as much life in it as a rock.

unless anyone else has any ideas i will resign it to the scrap heap.
