Empty K750 does not want to accept CID 36 - GSM-Forum

I have one K750i empty board and I try to write IMEI, product flag and CID. When I choose CID 36 Cruiser says that it is impossible to choose. How come?

"You are not allowed to set this CID!"

I do not want to flash the OTP area with CID 29. Any solution to this problem when using 5.02?

Hey,

I think no... Lead added this function, that you are not able to replace certificate of a CID 37 phone to CID 36 (phone unbootable --> testpoint).

It's a error of cruiser... No possibility

Hi Svent,

MG77 is right.... I faced the same problem (please read some of my post regarding this issue which includes the log) when I wanted set OTP CID36 for empty K750. FYI, I've have flashed about 8 empty boards for K750 and all shows the same error.

My customer wanted the phones fast, and I had to flash it with OTP CID29. Caution, as once you have set K750 with OTP CID29, you cannot do anything anymore to the phones with cruiser in the future (etc. unlock RSA/change certificate.....). Hope Lead will fix this problem with the new updates.

The first time I attached the phone to Cruiser the program detected the phone as CID 36, not CID 37.

If Setool can do it so can Cruiser if Lead wants. Unfortunately is my Setool dongle not working for the moment.
