Faulty cable? GDFS related errors - GSM-Forum

When I connect with some phones with a 4in1 fighter cable, I cant remember exact error but I get GDFS access errors or something when attaching phones.

It works fine uploading CS applet etc and with a COM cable.

Is this because USB cable is faulty or it's just the software's problem handling USB?

Problem with your cable

It's been reported before, search for posts by evan_silbert about it.

Taking apart your cable and resoldering it fixes it.

I faced the same problem , I lowered the baude rate to overcome this
problem.

I was having error when trying to unlock RSA
or customizing the phone.

lowering baude rate didnt help for some phones. so i guess i'll try resoldering the connector bit.

I was having error when trying to unlock RSA or customizing the phone. Hope this may help BR
