Member: 91298 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Basically... If you want to unlock a new CID_49 via NONE TP then you have to do the following. Connect phone as normal. Change certificate to brown 49, BUT if you cannot change certificate you have to remove RSA instead, now the phones that cant change certificate will give an error on erasing_flashblock at 99% or 100% when changing certificate. So if this happens and you cannot change the colour of certificate, then click REMOVE RSA, once removed, reconnect the phone, do your direct unlock and whilst your doing it - it will display your FW (firmware) Type and revision in the Log window. Make a quick note of this becuase removing RSA actually kill's the phone so it can bypass protection and unlock it, now to revive it - reconnect after unlocking, and unzip FW Restore files, click flash ARM (MAIN SW) and select appropriate FW Restore file. If it fails when sending applet - then best thing to do is change baudrate speed to 115200bps - this is what I did and it went through like a breeze... If not then upgrade to 9.54 - this bug was fixed in this, but i cannot confirm yet. FINALLY - IF THE PHONE COLOUR CAN BE CHANGED WITHOUT ERROR, THEN NO NEED TO REMOVE RSA, JUST UNLOCK AND PUT BACK CERTIFICATE VIA FOTA FILE OR CERTIFICATE OPTION. Hope this help's. LEAD: any change of making this a sticky - valuble information to new and old users. br, Danny. |

Member: 88410 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | This would be so much easier if it was a one-button operation without user interference - it might stop some of the questions people have if it were automated fw_restore on cert change when required Lead: how about it? make this tool even better! Member: 88410 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | sorry for being silly, but isn't usb-smart doing it one-button op? I appreciate that cruiser might run a totally different routine, but surely there must be some way of auto-attach/ident/flash Oh well, just a thought - cheers FWC |
