You have 2 choices... You can use SPST and run SHDIAG, or you can use the files in support and downgrade. That should solve your SIM-MEP problem.

FYI... Removing SIM-MEP using SPST would just takes around 30 secs. But phone backlight would always be in the "off" position after power off-on cycles. I haven't tried to initialize boot in SPST and see what happens after but I doubt it would solve this.

Downgrading solves this problem, but takes around 20-30 mins.

Sorry m8.

Japanese flash files are not available in cruiser support. The next best thing is to use sonics (cracked or not), there is a HK or Chinese flash available.

Just curious if anyone has tried this scheme:

Unlock with Cruiser
Downgrade and Initialize Boot
Phone Unlocked

Reflash with Japanese firmware from another tool.... still unlocked or back to SIM MEP?

Just thinking...

Maybe phone still OK with Usb-smart and Japanese only flash file! But not tested yet!

This is exactly what I was asking. I don't have a 902 at the moment to test with though....
