Probably certificate is damaged. Try this:

1. On Primary page select exact phone type LG U8330, Select boot type: Recovery boot, CID=42, use TP. Click Attach to phone btn. You will need testpoint. Open Cruiser help to see where TP is. Just connect the testpoint to GND when asked by Cruiser. Then simply disconnect it when Cruiser prompts you to do so.
2. On Security RSA page click Repair certificate (or Replace certificate with Red42).
3. Primary -> Turn off phone.

(don't need TP in next steps)
4. Select boot type: Normal boot.
5. Attach to phone.
6. Flash -> Flash ARM. Select a flash file - "U8330_V20a_Austria_Red42.flp" for example.
7. Turn off phone.

If this don't help you, then the problem is more serious - maybe hardware.
If the phone is locked use Unlock by patching.

Just use Vygis free and flash any working GDFS into your phone (not GDFS in .bif format). Use testpoint.

Yes, Vygis is other tool that may help. On Vygis support site LG section find the "Repair_flashes_for_LG3G" folder and "U81xx GDFS" folder and download files you need and flash the phone using testpoint.
